Grand central Exposure / lewdness charges dismissed for licensed professional

Our client, a licensed professional, and another person were arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual activity in a bathroom in Grand Central Station in front of other people. Our client was extremely worried because lewdness (pl 24500) carries up to a year in jail and a permanent criminal record. Our client contacted us for help and explained that after the arrest, the NYPD tricked our client into giving a full confession by assuring that they would release our client if this happened. Our client hired us and we immediately took steps to fight the confession and get the case dismissed. After several moths of litigation, we were able to work out a deal with the Manhattan District Attorney. Under the terms of the deal, our client would only have to plead guilty to the reduced and added charge of disorderly conduct, a non-criminal violation, and no criminal record, no jail, no sex-offender program, and no probation.
