No criminal record after our client arrested for assaulting our client’s wife in Manhattan
Our client was in a heated argument with our client’s wife who accused our client of cheating. This argument continued for many months but reached a boiling point on the day when our client was arrested for domestic violence. The complainant showed the police bruises and recovered a weapon from inside the marital home. When our client was arrested, he didn’t have a lawyer yet and ended up making a lengthy statement to the prosecutor which our client later regretted. Our client contacted us to fight for no criminal record. We fought the charges largely on the grounds of insufficient evidence of any physical injury and that the complainant was less than clear in her version of events. After going back and forth with the prosecutor for several months, we got the charges completely dismissed and the record sealed.
